The folks at D&D Beyond took the Heroic Chronicle System that was introduced in Explorer's Guide to Wildemount and tweaked/updated it for the Sword Coast. Not only are the new options that are available very interesting, but it also gives insight into what you'd need to change to adapt this system to your own game (one not set in the Sword Coast or Wildemount). I'm thinking about possibly streaming me updating this for my own homebrew world. Would there be any interest in that? What are your thoughts?
