D&D HeroQuest - Quest 8: The Fire Mage - Discussion & Summary

Heroes go to volcano fortress, fight Search Results Drizzt Do'Urden, a bunch of fire monsters, fimirs, and evil spellcasters. They have an insane fight against the fire mage, somehow, everyone lived.
This adventure was a disaster. But, we raised money for Extra Life and everyone had fun despite all the issues.
Poor design and timing on my part. All the technology was malfunctioning. It was a mess. Feel free to listen to this recorded stream as I lament all my mistakes and try to learn from them. I also sum up what happened.

In this ongoing 14 part series, we reboot the original 14 quests of Games Workshop/Milton Bradley's fantastic board game HeroQuest using 5th edition D&D and gorgeous maps by Heroic Maps. A slightly more cohesive story thread follows the adventures of Sir Ragnar, retired champion of the empire and his elite squad of adventurers as they fight against the forces of chaos that threaten to drown out the world of light with their darkness. Designed to be connected but self-contained one-shots the series allows players to drop in and out as schedule permits allowing for a revolving cast of players and characters.
