Finally time to continue The Quarry!

Dylan and Kaitlyn are at the Hackett Scrapyard and it's dark and spooky :S They need a spare part for the car remember but the place is a maze of creep wrecks in the dark and very little else. We do find notes detailing Laura and Max's car from the start though interestingly, the family worked together to vanish cars from "incidents" seemingly. Adds up in a not remotely legal way. After a while we spot the car itself hanging from a crane and looking a lot less ruined than everything else around. So Dylan heads up to drive the crane and see if he can work out how to lower it :D And that's when everything starts to go wrong, but in fairness it's not Dylan'sfault it's Kaitlyn's for once.

See the Scapyard has lights that turn on based on proximity, it's honestly really annoying, unhelpful and frequently scary. We're currently at the back end of the scrapyard though and the lights from the FRONT end are coming on progressively in our direction. Oh boy. Dylan spots them from his glorious crane altitude and quickly shouts to warn Kaitlyn instead of just panicking and wiggling crane stuff to lift the car immediately. Definitely the right call as it allows Kaitlyn to jump IN the car, THEN we lift it, as the highly unwanted werewolf arrives.
The werewolf is a bouncy feller and manages to grab onto the rising car at which point Kaitlyn who has the safest metal box around, the only gun we have and the benefit of flight, is all like "Dylan HalP \o_O/!!!". We have two choices: sound the horn on the crane or slam the car off the ground. Hmm. I don't think Kaitlyn would so do well being slammed off the ground from low orbit and the werewolves hate loud noises so we go with the "sound horn" one. It works
but Kaitlyn jumps out anyway and the werewolf comes for Dylan. Dylan fights it off with a blowtorch but then it goes back at Kaitlyn who is now on the ground, silly Kaitlyn!!! The car is free of squishy passengers now though so we can drop it! :] So Dylan drops the car on the werewolf and it gets splattered hah.

We're safe but only for now, Dylan saved Kaitlyn but it was close and very unnerving and the werewolf will probably get up again soon. They decide to head back to the lodge and nope out basically.
