6Sorry, I'm feeling a bit.. insane behind the wheel. Its been ages.. since I've last seen Burnout, a game series by Acclaim, and later Criterion games, the series was all about high impact crashes and near misses along with a impressive roster of vehicles. Three Fields Entertainment who are composed of former Criterion developers had tested the waters with Danger Zone and in May 2019 came this spiritual successor to Burnout to PS4.
Dangerous Driving, stylized as Dangerous Dr1v1ng is your typical Arcade racer where you are against the AI through a series of events including ye old races, Pursuit (a reference to Burnout 2 point of impact), Takedowns which are a burnout 3 reference, Heatwave which limits boost, and of course, face offs to unlock other vehicles as per the fine tradition of this 7 person team.
Controls? They'll get you at first: Its a bit reactive controls where you turn instantly, Boost shown as a fire on screen increases the crazier you drive, AI is surprisingly adapt for this game. The crashes? Yeah they aren't exactly the same caliber as Burnout but still enteraining as hell and so it the takedown of ramming your rivals off the road too. There's no in race music due to budget but there is a brilliant option, if you choose to, to use a spotify playlist in game.
