Danny Sullivan's Indy Heat (NES) Playthrough/Longplay
Playthrough/longplay of the 1991 NES game "Danny Sullivan's Indy Heat". The original arcade game was developed by Leland, and ported to NES by Rare.
"Danny Sullivan’s Indy Heat" is a single screen racing game that's easy to pick up and play. You race against four other racers, including Danny Sullivan in the yellow car, across a number of laps on nine different tracks. There are no gears, only gas, break and turbo. Price money can be used to buy upgrades or additional turbos, and pit stops during races refuels the car and repairs damages.
All in all, it's a fun arcade style racing game with nice graphics and sound. There is some planning needed of when to make the pit-stops to optimize the races, but mostly you focus on the driving. Danny Sullivan is your top competitor with some rubberband mechanics to keep the races tight.
