An action game with a FPP view, in which elements of cRPG have been woven. It is the first title in the Might and Magic series , created after the collapse of 3DO and UbiSoft taking over the rights to the series. The plot tells the story of a young hero named Sareth, who was trained in the art of combat and magic by a powerful wizard in order to defeat the Dark Messiah, who reigns supreme over the land of Ashan. It is called "the dark side of the Might & Magic world". The player can find about forty types of weapons on his way and learn dozens of offensive spells. Thanks to this, the fight with opponents can take place in close combat with swords, as well as with bows, daggers and at greater distances with the use of spells. The area where the player moves consists of twelve huge levels. They are inhabited by creatures that know neither mercy nor forgiveness. In Ashan, the forces of evil are stronger than anywhere, and life can be taken from us by intrepid orcs, vicious goblins, deceitful trolls, nasty undead, huge dragons and many other creatures that are overwhelming in size and depravity. Often the only way to avoid death may be to hide in the shadows and sneak silently from place to place. Dark Messiah of Might and Magic features cRPG elements. By collecting valuable experience, the player gains access to new items, acquires new skills and develops skills that can then be used in combat - effective combos, new spells, deadly blows in critical places. The multiplayer mode allows up to thirty-two players to play at the same time. We have at our disposal many game modes, from the simplest - Deathmatch known from other FPP games, to the mode called Evolution, which allows you to collect valuable experience while going through extensive online campaigns. The updated Source Engine, which Valve has successfully used in Half-Life 2, is responsible for the graphics in the game . Among other things, the control over the hero, the physics of the presented world and the display of the character have been improved.
