Trick to this guy is to try to always face off with the club weapon side the sword side has crazy attacks that hit you from super far away...With the club wait for a heavy attack then gets some hits on and retreat then repeat. You have to be fast because the water rises causing you to slow down. Beating this guy gives you access to the other side of the Lost Bastille.
