In this week's Dark Souls Sunday it's errand time! We half-way make it to the first boss (the Last Giant), but before we take on such a fearsome beast we'd best upgrade our character.

By using the power of the Emerald Herald it's possible for an undead to use souls to level up various attributes - just like with the Maiden in Black in Demon's Souls. It's a nice little throwback to a classic PS3 game, and it makes Majula feel a lot more cozy.

Other than that we finally meet Pate (played by Peter Serafinowicz) who imparts upon our hero sage wisdom, and a very useful item...
