Dark Souls 2: Quest Guide Lucatiel of Mirrah
6,900ViiTcha Dark Souls 2 guide. In this video we're going to discuss how to complete the storyline for Lucatiel of Mirrah. For completing this questline you will receive an entire set of Lucatiel's equipment.
The main objective is to find Lucatiel in 4 different locations across Drangleic. After locating Lucatiel and exhausting her dialogue at each location she will then be an eligible summon at a corresponding boss encounter. Within the same playthrough, Lucatiel must be summoned to and survive 3 out of the 4 of these boss battles.
Before I go into detail on Lucatiel's differing locations and boss encounters, it should be stated that purchasing the Redeye Ring from Shalquoir in Majula is not a must... but comes highly recommended. Essentially, the Redeye Ring will keep any boss focused on you. This will nearly insure Lucatiel survive each boss fight and she'll actually be useful by attacking the boss while they're attention is solely on you.
Alright, first let's discuss where to find Lucatiel in each location to exhaust her dialogue followed by summon locations for the corresponding boss encounter. These can be done in any order but this is mostly likely the order in which you will encounter her.
First is after the Dragonrider boss fight in Heyd's Tower, just before No-Man's Warf. Lucatiel will be standing by the bonfire, exhaust her dialogue. After speaking to her here, she can then be summoned to the Flexile Sentry boss encounter. Lucatiel's summoning sign can be found in one of the houses in No-Man's Warf. The house is easily accessed by dropping down from the ledge near a body that's dangling from the edge.
Next, Lucateil can be found in a tower in the Lost Bastille. The tower can be accessed from either entrance; either by ship from No-Man's Warf after the Flexile Sentry or by way of bird after defeating the Pursuer. Exhaust her dialogue here and she'll then move-on to be a summon for the boss encounter with the Lost Sinner. Her summoning sign can be found in the Lost Sinner's Rise at the base of the elevator that leads down to the flooded prison.
For the next encounter, Lucatiel can be found in the Earthen Peak near a bonfire just after the boss encounter with the Covenantous Demon. Exhaust her dialogue here and then she will become a summon for the Smelter Demon. Her summoning sign is just before the fog entrance to the encounter with Smelter.
For the final location Lucatiel can be found in the Black Gulch. Just after the first bonfire and before reaching the initial pools of tar, if you look over the edge with a torch lit you can see a ledge that you can drop down to. Drop down and proceed up the passage until you find Lucatiel. Exhaust her dialogue here; her summoning sign will then be available at the bonfire located before the encounter with the Rotten.
Lucatiel's final meeting place is in the shack just before Aldia's Manor. Exhaust her dialogue here and you'll receive a full set of her gear if Lucatiel SURVIVED at least 3 out of the 4 boss encounters. It should be noted that you can defeat the same boss multiple times with the use of bonfire ascetics within the same playthrough to count toward the 3 of 4 victories. Meaning if you wanted to, you could defeat the Flexile sentry 3 times to count for all 3 of your 4 victories as long as they're all within the same playthrough. Finally, if you're only interested in the gear, Lucateil can be killed at any time before her final disappearance and then her gear purchased form Melentia in Majula.
