The first part of our Dark Souls 2 SL1 Boss Guides covers the very beginning of the game from character creation up until the Cardinal Tower bonfire. The next episode will feature the first proper boss fight, but this one will help point out a lot of useful equipment for SL1 characters as well as other builds too!

This guide will feature tips about getting to bosses at SL1 and alternate strategies for both high strength tank characters and high mobility magic characters so don't worry if you're not ready to play along without the Emerald Herald just yet.
