Dark Souls 2 - Upgrading the armour merchant / Getting the Alva Set
225This video explains what needs to be done to upgrade the Armour merchant in Majula. I'll sum it up here as well, as the process is very simple.
Spend 1000 souls at the merchant, then go and sit at the bonfire.
Return to him and spend another 15,000 souls, bring the total up to 16,000. This will make the Alva set available.
To get the Aurous set you just need to die and talk to him without picking up your bloodstain.
