Dark Souls 3: Greatbow Co-Invaders Are Completely Useless (Raw Clip)
If there is one type of co-invader I hate more than any other it's a greatbow co-invader. I even prefer detected traitors over greatbow co-invaders because at least I can just treat them as a part of the gank instead of wondering where my co-invader is moments before I get shot in the back, placed in a stunlock, and then smashed by the gank. There is no real reason why 2 decent invaders couldn't handle 1 Havel UGS user and I am confident, despite it happening offscreen for me, that the only reason the original Aldrich invader died at 1:17 was because the other red fired a greatarrow meant for the ganker, hit the Aldrich instead because he didn't account for arrow travel speed, and then the Havel got in his R1R1 hits killing him. Then of course feeling no shame in being utterly useless what's that red do? He continues to use a greatbow...
I should've known that he was never going to fight when I dragged the gankers over to him and only moments later he ran to use his greatbow again. The only reason why I hesitated in killing him myself was because he did briefly return to using his actual weapon before he ran so he might just be stalling for additional backup (the type to only fight when they have a large numbers advantage). During stream I said I was surprised the red managed to kill someone after I kicked him off the tower ledge; in reality though he killed no one, hardly damage any of the gankers, and contributed greatly to the death of a previous ally. The white summon the new Aldrich helped me kill was actually the host (he commonly likes wearing the Untrue White Ring which tends to trick me if I didn't read the host name on entering a world). The new Aldrich doing a failed plunge attack and only 2 R1s was more helpful than the entirety of effort the greatbow user had done.
