Dark Souls 3: A 1v2 Was Fine but a 2v2 Isn't?! (Raw Clip)
7It's not very often that I get to a world and there's an invader capable of surviving for a while that is just looking for the moment to turn the gank around. It's even more rare for me personally to invade as an Aldrich and even rarer to have an Aldrich ally when I do. Gankers always run at the slightest inconveniences so it doesn't surprise me at all that this group ran when it became a 2v2, judging how they were chasing the Aldrich Faithful they probably even had a 3rd person that the invader killed a bit before I arrived. Although the host was able to survive for a while just by running away and panic rolling, the fact that I couldn't hit my ally for once and vice versa really simplified the chase.
From the ganked perspective; It is difficult trying to dodge multiple attacks that are all timed differently while managing your stamina. Knowing that the gankers will swing right into each other without a care in the world and that they have 2+ stamina bars to chase you down with.
From the ganking perspective; the lack of friendly fire/stagger completely trivializes thinking about your ally in any meaningful way beyond if they're alive and on occasion where they are. It does make killing opponents super easy though. #GitGud
