To perform this wake up you need 50 dex/sage ring and hornet ring.
Steps:
-Perform a backstab
-Toggle to the pyro flame
-Run up to your downed opponent (not too close)
-Cast profaned flame
-Move one step forward (Timing changes depending on the weapon and latency)
-R1 (feel free to try out other attacks)

The reason why GS r1 is better than a SS or most faster weapons is because it has high poise dmg, which means the opponent will not be able to double roll and roll poise out of the wake up, letting you utilize stun priority or combo potential.
