This host should've been dead on so many occasions prior to hiding behind the fog door but through a combination of me playing for style over just winning and just shear dumb luck he didn't. This host was in NG+ minimum so he had experience, should have had plenty of embers/souls to make a death super trivial, and was not just wasting my time but also his summon's time. Not dying to an invader at all costs was the most important thing to him though.

The host may have not improved in any significant manner from this invasion but this invasion was one of the first that made me reconsider putting more alternate weapons on my meta builds.
