Q: Did I have to provide the host a fighting chance by using a meme weapon when he was out of summons?
A: No, he may not have ganked me with the first set of summons but given how the rest of the invasion went it's clear it was likely not out of a sense of honor or fairness.

Q: Should I have provided mercy because the host seemed inexperienced?
A: Again No, I should've sensed how he'd behave from the first part of the invasion when all he and the sunbro wanted to do was fire projectiles at me.

Given how much this host kept back pedaling that he got a 3rd and 4th blue summon (in addition to the sunbro) I was already annoyed. I hope the host was happy in his/her choice of throwing dung pies while slowly dying of poison though because instead of tilting me to do something stupid it tilted me to stop being intentionally stupid and just focus on the kill instead. If you ever wonder why so many invaders don't relent even even when it's a new player, it's because of invasions like this.
