Dark Souls III Linux Gameplay with FSYNC kernel and proton-5.0-6-rc3 dev
OS: Ubuntu Budgie 20.04 (or lastest Ubuntu)
Kernel: 5.6.2-xanmod2 (XanMod kernel to enable FSYNC, to replace ESYNC)
MONITOR: EIZO FORIS FS2434-BK
Resolution: 1920x1080
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K @ 8x 4.2GHz
GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Driver: 440.64
RAM: 32124MiB DDR3L
Mobo: Gigabyte Z170-HD3 DDR3-CF
BIOS options: ENHANCED STABILITY for all possible options
AUDIO: Auzentech Auzen X-Fi Prelude 7.1 (with 5.1 surround config)
Steam Client Beta and Proton 5.0-6-rc3
And launch option 'WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" %command%' to fix 5.1 audio bugs.
RECORDING SOFTWARE: OBS STUDIO+NVENC and disabled Allow Flipping in Nvidia Panel to allow FULL SCREEN RECORDING. https://files.maartenbaert.be/simplescreenrecorder/nvidia-page-flipping.png
With FSYNC enabled, i do not feel any performance impact when recording with 60FPS or gameplay! It's not like ESYNC. The game was never run like this. Also i don't see any sound effects bug. You will see that in this long gameplay!
