I have always been curious about Loot Crate & in January they Featured DARK SOULS as the Gaming theme for their Gaming Loot Crate. You know I have to get me some SoulsBorne merch right? So I figured I'd give it a shot.
I was kind of hoping for more... Not more as in More stuff but something better, especially for DarkSouls, like a little figure.
So what was in the Box? Watch the video to find out! lol, jk.
Dark Souls: a black Coffee mug with "You Died" at the bottom of the cup, an Estus Flask in Gold paint on the front & the Dark Souls logo under the mug.
FALLOUT: A rubber Tea Steeper. You open it up & stuff your Tea stuff inside (Yuck, I am not a tea fan)
NG+ Pin: A small bronze pin in the shape of NG+ (New Game Plus)
CASTLEVANIA: A winter hat with the game's logo & scarf with a pixel art scene from the game across the scarf.
Honestly, I feel a bit dupped since the theme was advertised as DARK SOULS but the premium item was indeed the Castlevania hat & scarf.
I rate the package 6/10 & the experience as a whole from start to finish a 5/10. The package was shipped out a few days late & it took over a month for it to arrive. It took so long that after I finished recording the video, I got an email telling me my February Loot Crate has been shipped.
I would rather have had a Dark Souls T-shirt but the mug is still cool. The hat & scarf were really cool. The pin was well done. The Fallout steeper...meh, I won't ever use it.
Hopefully the 2nd Loot Crate will be better, the theme is DOOM ETERNAL.
