The playable shrines in darkest dungeon 2 are really not doing it for me. I think they limited the skills as 5, is not enough to get variation and having 8 would have allowed for immediate variation. They complained about the first game being too long and people not finishing, well let me tell you about 14 to 15 heroes needing to visit 5 shrines. That will take a long while and people will probably not want to finish that. I think locking skills behind shrines was not the best thing and I hope they reduce the amount. The sections could be combined easily.
