Shep’s vendetta is a ,,stress-DoT“ team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Crusader (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
2nd: Man at arms (accuracy trinket + Spiked shield) - supporteer
3rd: Abomination (damage trinkets) - DoT dealer
4th: Houndmaster (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
PROS:
1) Porcupine
2) Great stress output
3) Great DoT output
4) Great healing potential
5) 3 stunners
6) 2 guardians
7) 2 disruptors
CONS:
1) Stuns are a menace
2) Marks are a menace
3) Stress is a menace
4) Disruption is a menace
5) RNGsus is a menace
Shep’s vendetta is a stress team with great strenght of DoT and pure damage. You have 3 (self)healers, 3 stunners, 2 guardians, 2 disruptors and 2 riposters. Sadly this team is weak against mark and stress teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „full stress“, „virtue team“, „original setup“ and „porcupine“. Also I played both variantions of Man at arms (damager / stresser), more reliable is damage variantion.
My advice: Open the riposte as soon as possible. Firstly with Abomination, next guard Houndmaster with Man at arms. The last 2 characters use as stressers, no matter on opponent’s team.
I was thrilled to try this team. First things first… you have a porcupine and that’s a great advantage… Well, if opponent have a blessing from RNGsus, your porcupine team is obsolete. I played many matches and suffered like a martyr on the cross. First matches were horrible - darkest player and even NOVICE player beated me easily. Next fights were really hard. This was… I don’t want to play this anymore. I understood, how to play this team, sadly the reality was different. I would gladly give them a low rate, BUT thanks to the last match, you can still defeat harder players. This team is MID.
