Cloak and dagger is a „stress-DoT“ team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Antiquarian (dodge trinkets) - DoT dealer
2nd: Highwayman (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
3rd: Occultist (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
4th: Plague doctor (accuracy trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
PROS:
1) Mark synergy (Occultist + Highwayman)
2) Great stress output
3) Great DoT output
4) Great healing potential
5) 3 disruptors
6) 2 deathblowers
CONS:
1) Marks are a menace
2) Stuns are a menace
3) Stress is a menace
4) Low damage output
Cloak and dagger is an odd stress team with great strenght of DoT and little bit of pure damage. You have 3 disruptors, 3 healers, 2 deathblowers and the mark synergy. Sadly this team is vulnerable against mark teams.
I played a few strategies, like „mix damage + stress“, „mix damage + DoT“, „mark team“ and „the finishers“. I tried both variantions of Highwayman (bandit / gunslinger), for this team it’s better to stick with bandit version. Also I tried both variantions of Plague doctor (stresser / DoT), both choices are good.
My advice: Start with Highwayman for opening the riposte, next use Occultist for disruption, then Antiquarian for applying DoT and lastly Plague doctor for stressing the backline.
About score: After finishing the set of matches, in editor I found that record of 1st match was corrupted (at the start and in middle part just randomly skips to another parts). I was very furious. After this I chose to play it again and I got stress Bot. That’s why this showcase starts with 2:0 score.
About team: Wow, now this team. I already knew, playing this team would be very hard and I wasn’t too far from it. Antiquarian in 1st position isn’t a good placement, BUT if you give her dodge trinkets, she can survive the whole match. I got only these players and 2 lost matches - one against a novice player with mark team and one against darkest player also with mark team - but that was close call (one round for my Highwayman and the opponent would lose). Very intense and hard for playing, but this is probably the best possible Antiquarian team from BC’s team list.
