Underdog team is a ,,damage-stress“ team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Flagellant (Gauntlet of Absolution + damage trinket) - DoT dealer
2nd: Houndmaster (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - DoT dealer
3rd: Bounty hunter (Grappling Mits + accuracy trinket) - deathblow dealer
4th: Arbalest (healing trinket + damage trinket) - damage dealer
PROS:
1) Mark synergy (Bounty hunter + Houndmaster / Arbalest)
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great DoT output
5) Great healing potential
6) 2 disruptors
7) 2 deathblowers
CONS:
1) Stress is a menace
2) DoT is a menace
3) Disruption is a menace
Underdog team is a damage team, that combines also stress and DoT. You have 3 (self)healers, 2 disruptors, 2 deathblowers (if we count Arbalest’s „Sniper shot“ on marked character) and powerful mark synergy. Sadly this team is vulnerable against stress and DoT teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „original setup“, „mark team“, „double finisher“ and „full stress“. The „mark team“ and „original setup“ are best for playing.
My advice: Start with Bounty hunter for disruption, next use Flagellant for applying DoT, then Houndmaster for dealing massive damage and lastly Arbalest for dealing massive damage.
It’s a nice team, if you’re playing the obvious strategies - mark team or original setup. I don’t think, it’s needed to say more about mark synergy, you mark with Bounty hunter, Houndmaster and Arbalest will do the rest. Unfortunately I lost 3x - twice with “full stress” strategy against veteran player with LAME based team [shepARB’s stress] and once against champion player with DoT team. If you omit the unusual strategies, the team is very good.
