Secret of Mana
System: Super Nintendo
Developer: Square
Publisher: Square
Known as Seiken Densetsu 2 or Legend of the Sacred Sword 2 in Japan, this is an action role playing game with gameplay similar in style to Legend of Zelda Link to the Past. The story follows a young boy who pulls a sword from a stone and releases monsters into the world. He then has to take up a quest to power up the Mana sword to save the world. The game is fairly unique in that there are three characters that can each be controlled by a player using multitap. This three player RPG involves gameplay where players can switch between multiple weapons or casting various elemental magic.

#SPOILERS BELOW - Secret of Mana Gameplay Notes#
Let's play Secret of Mana! We start the episode in Matango where the Mushroom King has told us that we need to use Flammie to fly to the Lofty Mountains to meet the Sage Joche. A long the way to the top of the Mountain we find the Palace of Darkness. The Palace is full of evil monsters that use the darkness elemental. Eventually we reach the Lime Slime who seems to only really take damage from physical attacks (unknown to us, Salamando would have been the best choice).
After defeating the Lime Slime, we reach the Darkness Mana Seed and Shade gives us his power which allows BRUUHH to cast Shadow Magic.
