Darwin Nunez should play HERE instead
Ralf Rangnick couldn’t leave without one well-deserved jibe towards the ownership of Manchester United.
The interim German manager let it be known publicly that Manchester United needed an overhaul, to the tune of almost a dozen players.
Many supporters will have their opinion of what positions, if not all, needed strengthening but one that passed by in the midst of Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer saga, was the centre forward role.
This is Manchester United Football Club, as Gary Neville so famously repeats ad nauseum, and they couldn’t find a central striker: with Darwin Nunez, eventually away to Liverpool, being one that got away.
