Darwin Project is a video game developed by "Scavengers Studio" a Canadian developer based in Montreal Canada. Darwin Project is a battle royale game based in the Canadian rockies wilderness. This makes Darwin Project unique as it is one of the few battle royale games based in a real-world location. While Darwin project does offer great fluid gameplay the learning curve may be high for some new players. Many new players to Darwin Project may have a hard time adjusting from popular battle royale games such as Fortnite or Pubg its well worth it. The biggest issue for Darwin Project is its floaty battle mechanics and over-complicated systems.
Most gamers stagnated by Fortnite's current state and lack of updates may want to give Darwin Project a try. Darwin Project is a "solo" only experience currently featuring lobbies of 10 players total. As of now it does not appear for much hope of Darwin Project bringing squads or duos support.
This may be a big turn off from many players who want more socialization and teamwork in their games. However if you do happen to prefer a solo based battle royale game this is a great game at its core.
The community of Darwin Project being small is less toxic than many battle royale games on the market today. This being said its also the small community that Darwin Project supporting and keeping the game afloat.
