Das Boot (1981) fanclip. Music: Klaus Doldinger and U96. As kid, I've visited the Bavaria Filmstudios and was able to walk through Das Boot. The original replica was a 1:1 scale build of a U-Boot-Klasse VII and 55 meters long (they didn't built the bow and stern of it). It was really impressive and I remember to hit my head on a Torpedo, when we were walking through. Nowadays it isn't possible to visit the U96 anymore due to a litigation.
