The Prime Minister has paid a pre-Christmas visit to British troops in Afghanistan and he's taken football star Michael Owen with him.

It's become something of a tradition for David Cameron to arrive unannounced in Camp Bastion at this time of year.

This is his fourth Christmas visit but it may be his last with all combat troops due to leave over the next 12 months.
