The British members of the "Walking with the Wounded" expedition to the Antarctic have returned home to the UK in time for Christmas.

For the past month they have been taking on some of the toughest conditions imaginable in an attempt to reach the South Pole in the Virgin Money Allied Challenge.

Jon Knighton was there to greet them at Heathrow.
