When I first started learning to play the accordion in 2003 I didn't know what music to play, so I went on the internet and searched for accordion sheet music, and I found this tune. At the time this piece was too hard for me to play, but I kept it nearby, and as I progressed throughout the years I kept going back to it and got better and better at it. As of now I've been able to play the piece for a while, but I haven't really sat down to really learn it and play it consistently until now.

I love how simple, yet powerful this tune is - it demands dynamic precision, and for the player to carry a sense of delicate momentum throughout. It's a very beautiful piece that I feel is well-suited for the accordion's unique instrument traits.
