My first session with the game today. About 1/2 way through the game. For a while I thought maybe the game was glitched, so resetted the emulator. I was unable to do executions which are critical to regaining health. Turns out this card I had equipped seems to disable executions, but they neglected to put that in the descript. Its the card that gives you a 25 percent attack boost. It disables rage attacks and executions so probably not worth using often, aside from maybe boss fights. Maybe in synergy with a card that works well with it.
The game is at best, a mid tier beat em up at its core. So the customisation for different playstyles, through the cards is really what keeps the game addictive to me. Otherwise it would be pretty repetitive.
