The LucasArts classic point-and-click adventure game released in 1993 and saw the player trying to prevent Purple Tentacle from taking over the world. This game saw your characters travel through time to the past, present and future where you could switch between them and exchange items to solve puzzles in different eras. I can sum up the game's good points in 3 points: *great colourful graphics *great humour and voice-acting *doable puzzles, yet challenging too

My biggest gripe with a similar game such as monkey island is that, after a point the puzzles (especially in LeChuck's revenge) become almost impossible. So while the journey of this game isn't as great as the Monkey Island games, it allows you to work through the story at a faster rate due to the absence of those truly impossible puzzles which required a strategy guide. So with these points and with a solid story, there is no reason for any fan of adventure games not to have played this game. And while I try to avoid bandying titles of "best ever" around this is certainly a great game still today and ought to be played and remembered by gamers today as it ages remarkably well.

On a final note, as this was a DOS game and I could only seem to record it on CamStudio in a portion of the screen (I used the region feature to make it take up most of the screen) it is a little choppy in places and also I did intentionally speed up certain opening scenes just so I could run the audio of explaining the story alongside it without having to wait too long on the gameplay before talking about that.
