The Sierra 1990 life sim where you take your character and try to fulfil their various happiness/employment/knowledge and cash wants. It's hardly The Sims but probably for the time wasn't such a bad attempt as it seems now. Even looking beyond the graphics and music (neither of which will particularly impress) the gameplay is fairly repetitive and pretty dull. For instance, go to work, work a few hours, go to fast food place, eat, go to uni, study a bit, go to employment office, see if you're employable as something that pays better - end turn and repeat. There are no other relationships to develop as in The Sims (I'm comparing it to this as this is the only life sim I know that actually is quite fun to play and does a good job of giving the player some variety of gameplay) nor does it allow any major customisation of your character or their manor.

That said I'm not so mean-spirited as to say this game is complete shite, as it's two-player mode can probably stave off bordom from a rainy weekend - but only just. I'm not one who's too put off by 2D graphics - in fact I rather like the style in this game - nor does the blippy sounds or music grate me too much, it's just that there's very little enjoyment to be had and very incentive to play it again as the second run-through will take an almost identical path to the time before. For this simple reason I can't recommend it.
