Edited: So it appeared that the Daytona Championship New Season, currently only playable for Teknoparot Patreons, could be accessed by non-patreons using a little EXE swaparound with the old game, which is what I did here. Apparently, all this workaround actually does is just swap some of the graphics around and doesn't actually change the base gameplay, which explains why nothing in-game felt different... So, this apparently isn't the true New Season experience, it's sort of like a hybrid old Season and new season.

Edit 2: Boomslang from the TP team has now made the PROPER version of Daytona NSE publicly available. Nice one Booms! Legend. Here's some Gameplay from the actuals NSE version: https://youtu.be/9jtuMyOAaXw
The NSE version definitely feels a bit different to the base game, in a good way, I go into a bit more detail on that in the video description to the video I linked to above.

The 'New Season' was a software update for Daytona Championship USA by Sega that added new features to the game - from Sega's press blurb:

"Improved Car Handling – Lets players have greater control of their car and feel even closer to all the action
New Dynamic In-Game Camera – This new feature lets players experience the race with dynamic camera angles making the gameplay feel more natural.
New Graphics and Improved Lighting – These two features combined with the dynamic in-game camera deliver a bright, crisp and modern gameplay.
New Car Models and Damage Modelling – Players can challenge their friends with new cars and witness jaw-dropping crashes and damage to cars.
