Updated for 2024, in this introduction to my new-starters beginners guide tutorial to Modding DayZ Nitrado PC Custom Community Servers, I tell you & explain how to remove the "automated task" server restarts & instead edit your messages.xml file to control the restarts & the time between restarts.

I explain why having regular restarts is important for the stability of your PC DayZ Custom Community Server, and why it's best to keep the amount of messages to a bare minimum so that your players don't ignore them.
