He comes home from school to find out that the cube had been disposed of. Being pissed, Braxton frantically searches through the garbage while his mother tries to stop him. She didn't put it there. She won't tell him where she disposed of it. She lies because she's scared of what would happen if the cube was back. Feeling utterly defeated, Braxton goes to bed feeling depressed. It's still fairly early. The sky is a cobalt color. As he drifts off to sleep, a scraping sound can be heard. He wakes up, half asleep, and gets up with acrimony to see what that sound is coming from. It's annoying and he wants it to stop. He looks at the window and... there it is. The box is right outside of it. But how did it return? He was still at first but then he was shook by surprise, he goes over and carefully opens the window with anticipation. The box, the cube, it's back. But something is on it. On one of the sides is a perfect white circle. In the middle is a smaller filled circle. It's luminous.
