The first campaign for the DCS Normandy map is here! It's Operation Epsom created by Bunyap and Matt Wagner. This campaign features a series of missions taking place in late June of 1944, pretty soon after the Normandy landings. As part of the Royal Canadian Air Force Wing No. 144 flying the Spitfire LF Mk. IX, you will fly a series of historically based missions performing tasks like CAS and armed reconnaissance over the Normandy landscape.
I will be uploading a complete play through of all the missions here. I'm keeping the descriptions and briefings separate in case some people just want to start the mission from the beginning.
This was kind of funny but frustrating at the same time. My wingman crashed into me on the taxiway and destroyed the tail on my aircraft. You can see him step out of his aircraft and stand on it while it burns. The other odd thing is that somehow the tail of my aircraft spawned children. Though two tails were destroyed, the debris of three additional tail sections are clearly visible.
