DEAD CELLS. DIFFICULTY: NORMAL/HARD. FULL WALKTROUGH. PART 1 [NO COMMENTARY]
Way back in 1990, I first saw a game from Konami Studio - Castlevania on my Yamaha MSX-2. Since then the genre of metroidvania has been one of my favorites. There are many games released, but I dislike the pixel art in many of them, but I liked Dead Cells from the first sight: the idea, the battles, the art style, the music - everything in it fits together perfectly.
After the release of the add-on Return to Castlevania I decided to pass the game, of course I was interested in the DLC first of all, but it turned out that I still have to find it in the Dead Cells world, which is a lot of fun.
My journey began!
Dead Cells is a rogue-lite, Castlevania-inspired action-platformer, allowing you to explore a sprawling, ever-changing castle… assuming you’re able to fight your way past its keepers.
The Prisoner awakens in the depths of the island's prison, suffering from amnesia. A soldier encounters the Prisoner, and mentions that they can no longer die. The Prisoner tries to escape the prison, but their head is forced back to the depths as soon as its body is destroyed. Between subsequent escape attempts, the Prisoner learns that the island was once a mighty kingdom that fell when a plague known as "The Malaise" transformed most of the kingdom's citizens into mutated monsters.
