Dead Estate is a brand new Horror Roguelike just released on Steam! Fight lots of different monsters with crazy different weapons, items and power-ups! Jump around and dodge things coming at you from above, below, and pretty much anywhere else you can imagine. Don't take too long on a floor, or the "Mr X." Style boss Chunks will chase after you until you leave, or die. Whichever comes first.
The Horror element of Dead Estate cannot be understated, as the tense gameplay elements and gameplay design really come together to create a very claustrophobic experience. The art-style while comical, is rather impressive in it's sprite work and character design, everything looking rather unique and even cool most of the time.
While the first 30 minutes on display are only played with one character, there are tons for you to unlock, along with lots of different weapons and items. The different rooms and shops you see along the way are also fairly unique, while still taking inspiration from Isaac and Gungeon. Everything about it is a love-letter to these types of games, and even the enemy design reminds more of "Link to the Past" than it does some more modern games.
