Kokoro Clover came to my personal attention when Gawr Gura played it for her stream a while back. I picked it up when it was on sale for only $2.49 and honestly it's kind of been sitting around for a while. It's a really cute, bubbly game that reminds me of Kirby mixed with Mega Man. It's parts of a lot of games, and really I think it might be aimed more at casual players and maybe even children than adults, as the difficulty level stays rather mild through-out.
It's a really nice game though visually, with some beautiful sprite-work that feels delightfully happy and fun, and the colors and shading on them are to be noted as well. Apart from also being visually great, the music is pretty awesome, sounding like chiptune heaven at every second. It reminds of Anamanaguchi & flashygoodness' best moments all in one.
It's clear that a ton of heart was poured into Kokoro Clover and we here at Hands-Off can handily recommend it for the small asking price considering how much heart and soul was poured into this project. It's casual enough to pick up and play and has enough remote depth in the combat systems that you can have a ton of fun with it!
