Dead Or Alive Saturn Vs PS1
Both Running on real hardware, upscaled through the same upscaler and recorded with the same device. Note: my PS1 SCART cable is not as good as my Saturn one, and based on the video is likely a composite SCART.
The below are some of my observations.
Saturn Version Pros
Higher resolution
Rock solid framerate (PS1 has some slowdown)
Much better textures
Costumes are nicer
Better backgrounds and Stages
Very faithful recreation of Arcade Game
PS1 Version Pros
Nice lighting
Decent Shadows
More content including costumes and extra playable character Ayane
Tweaked moves incorporating elements from DOA2
DOA2 costumes, particularly Gen
Higher res Intro movie
Obviously, opinions are subjective. Let me know what you think in the comments.
