Dead Rising 4 is an open world survival horror action-adventure video game developed by Capcom Vancouver and published by Microsoft Studios for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One. The game features an older Frank West, returning to Willamette, Colorado during the Christmas season, where the newly constructed "Willamette Memorial Mall" has fallen under another zombie outbreak. Dead Rising 4 returns to Willamette, the setting of the original game, during the Christmas season. The game is a sequel set sixteen years after the events of the first game, and one year after the events of Dead Rising 3, though it also acts as a soft reboot of the series.
