I'm about to enter fuel mega storage, but I decide to ditch the line gun in favor of the pulse rifle. I buy some ammo then head into fuel mega storage. A big fuel tank with a giant tentacle is blocking the tram's path, so I destroy the tank, and Ellie & Stross descend and wait for me on the other side of the chamber. I take the elevator down to get to the other side, but this surely looks like a boss area to me. I need to throw flammable canisters at the big fuel pod to destroy the whole area so we can escape.
I throw the canister, and boom I was right! A huge tripod boss leaps toward me and reduces me to mincemeat (or Isaacmeat) in 5 seconds. I was not ready for this. I gear up and try it again. There are multiple tripods! Jesus, ok now I know this is tripod alley. I gear up again, buying more stasis and ammo, and on the third try, I slice through three tripods AND blow up the fuel pods. I take the lift back up to the tram, and the three of us barely escape. But Tideman destroys the rail line ahead of us, forcing us to backtrack to the docked USG Ishimura..
