When Dead Space first came out it was terrifying, had ground breaking design, and kept on winning awards, I dont think I spoke to anyone in 2008 that didn't like it. It attracted so many people, even people that didn't like horror or sci-fi games. With the release of the Dead Space 2023 remake I decided to go back through the 2008 version and see exactly how bad the graphics were. Well, I was stunned to find the graphics still hold up very well today, I found myself getting sucked straight back into the game and before I knew it I was 5 levels in. I won't be getting the remake yet as honestly this version is still incredible, even in 2023. After this I have Dead Space 2 and 3 to complete again.
