Dead Space Part 25: Down by the Range
0So, after killing the giant necromorph, we started to begin our adventure onto the Valor in search of a singularity core that should power the shuttle, so we can leave this god-awful place. However, I do get a little side-tracked with a particular mini-game (not really sure why it’s here; maybe some kind of training station for the people here prior but I don’t know why they would have med packs for rewards). As the title might hint at, there is a random shooting gallery that you can use and compete against in order to gain some prizes (a mixture of medical packs, ammo and, as a grand prize, a Node that we can use to upgrade stuff). The game itself isn’t too hard, a simple “Shoot Red Targets and Not the Blue Targets”; it’s a fun little mini-game which kind of seems out of place in this dark, dreary kind of game but, I do appreciate it since it keeps my mind of that whole “Apocalyptic-level, flesh-eating monster race that is trying to murder me and the rest of the galaxy” thing we got going on.
