So, after some mess ups with my uploading scheduling (I want to change up what I uploaded but forgot to actually change things around and uploaded videos that I didn’t want to go up yet), we are heading back into the World of Thedas with a literal and figurative bang. For those who are unfamiliar with the Dragon Age series, have no fear, I had recorded the first two games as well as all DLC for the original game. This one take place after the Second and, as we learn, the Mages had led some kind of rebellion against the Templars however, with the Help of Divine Justinia (The leader of a Religious group named the Chantry), they were supposed to come together and have a peace talk to ease, if not completely eliminate all fighting between the two factions. I say that we learn about this a little later because we spend all of this video simply creating our Character. The character creation within this game feels like a mixture of the previous games combined together; It allows you to pick a specific race, class and difficulty but doesn’t really allow you to create any kind of backstory like the original game (I think I was an Elvish character who had the choice of being from a Dalish Clan or in the Cities Slum; things like that). After picking that, we can change our appearance as you see fit which I always try to spend as little time on this as possible for the sake of recording (not sure how interested people are to see me mess around with the system, but I usually end up taking about fifteen minutes to get through it). I have no real complaints with the system overall except maybe the Hairstyle options for Qunari (which is what I picked) seemed very odd; I would’ve like to have been able to choose a style for my Horns as a completely different option to hair but, I do understand why they combined those together.
