Dead Space Part 9: Refueling for Years
0So, we continue to make our way through this infested ship, in hopes of refueling the thing so we can stop slowly falling towards the planet and towards our doom. We do get to refuel the engines to the stop our descent within this video and, as you might expect from any video game, we have to guard the machine to make sure it gets fully filled. I’m not sure if we get attacked because it makes a lot of noise and attracts the Necromorphs; the only other reason would be them trying to stop the machine from working and I don’t really see them being experts on ships. I all I’m painfully aware of is that there are quite a few of them and I don’t seem to have group combat down quite just yet. For the most part, we’ve only ever encounter two or three, possibly four, different enemies at any given time (that doesn’t count the small cluster of enemies that cling to you and deal damage, I usually think of them as one encounter that takes way too many bullets to kill) so fighting any more than that seems very hard. Keeping track of so many enemies with a relatively slow moving camera and my shitty accuracy doesn’t really help me out in these kinds of situations.
