Shadowrun Returns: Dead Man’s Switch Part 29: The Search for Shane
0So, after collecting some new clothes, we finally get a chance to explore the Brotherhood’s base to try and find Jessica and Shane (Shane was Cherry’s ex-boyfriend we saw near the beginning of the campaign who wanted her to join with him and, when we told her we were checking out this place, she asked us to see if he was alright since she hadn’t seen him for a while; A small recap for those who might’ve forgotten). For the most part, we don’t really find too much of use because I’m already wearing the Father/Mother’s clothing which means I have full access to the place; Most of what we find seems to be just used to infiltrate the base. For example, we find out that we can reprogram a card that will gain us access to everything but, as I mentioned, we already look the part so no-one bothers us. I do find it a bit odd that I can hide in plain sight, wearing a high ranking official uniform and no one seems to question me/notices anything wrong. I don’t think we ever bump into anyone who asks whom we might be or where we came from which makes infiltrating this place seem a little too easy. Regardless, now that we are inside, all that is left is to get the rest of the team who is still patiently waiting outside for me to let them in.
