Jack follows up on his leads given to him by Exner, and is confronted by Gopher, who hired Marvin Silt to be Tattoo's driver, and who was also working with Patch. Jack confronts Gopher and he runs off, Jack must then fight through his thugs with help from Shadow, including more Clown masked assassins, even shooting down a helicopter. Jack fights his way through an ice filled warehouse and finds Gopher dead, and confronts the assassin, a Cross-bow weilding mercenary. Jack kills him, but is wounded by him, Jack goes to the diner where Hildy nurses him back to health. Jack stays in the storeroom on Hildy's request, because Rafshoon Diggs and 2 guards go inside and ask her what's been going on, she denies knowing anything, but Diggs tells her that the "boss" wants to chat. When she refuses, the guards grab her. Jack confronts Diggs, but is quickly subdued by him. When Jack wakes up, he is tied upside down over a pool of water, and is confronted by the "boss" a man of royalty from the middle east. Fahook Abdule. Who tells Jack he has been causing trouble for him. Then he leaves Jack to his fate... and 2 twin sisters who are acting as mercs for him.
