We continue playing Starbound 1.0 from the beginning on permadeath hardcore mode. In this let's play Starbound 1.0 video we need to start upgrading our equipment, requiring a quick trip to a desert planet.

Then we explore our base forest planet for weapons and possible Floran dungeons - we check out a Glitch Fortress, only to find it too dangerous! We also find an Avian village on the planet.

Then we upgrade some tech by performing for a scientist Apex in a series of obstacle courses, visit a moon for some extra fuel, then finally we fly away to track down new
forest planets and new Floran villages & dungeons to find Floran artifact clues.
