Deadly Towers - Game Genie Cheats Activate! Part 2 (RG129b)
Here we have the story of a man who delves into the realm of insanity as he plays a game that no person was ever meant to play. Will the Game Genie he able to save him? Or will he wander eternally in the crazy maze of doom with no hope of regaining composure...
Fun fact: Andrew had to play through StarTropics five times after this video was made in order to function normally in society once again, and even then there were questions regarding whether or not he could maintain normal conversation without breaking down and cowering in the corner over his intense fear of being forever lost in a dungeon where every room looks exactly the same.
Did you know that originally Deadly Towers was going to be called Hell's Bells, but Nintendo forced Irem to change it? It must have taken them a whole 5 seconds to come up with the new name after they couldn't use their original one, all that they had to do was ask the QA tester what he thought of the game and BAM, new name created.
Also, the answers to all of life's greatest mysteries:
-It appears that the rooms within the maze actually do loop around! You know, just in case it wasn't confusing enough already...
-No, I am not ok
-The Angry Video Game Nerd Movie will never be completed
- Twilight Sparkle
-The Hyper Boots apparently do make you walk faster but only when you are walking diagonally. Because that makes complete sense, why not just make it faster for all directions?
So if you watched both parts of my crazy Deadly Towers adventure, thank you! I hope that you enjoyed them, and I apologize if my insanity got in the way of the fun. Unless my insanity was the fun, then shame on you for laughing at my pain, but I'm glad that you enjoyed it anyway! :P
